Henley Town Council to Declare a Climate Emergency
Discuss strategies to encourage our local Town Council to declare a Climate Emergency.
Many councils around the country and around the world are doing this. See the

Come along to discuss strategies to approach councillors, the nature of the action plan necessary to ensure that the declaration is more than an empty promise and how to spread the information to our community to catalyse wider action.

Safe Space from Climate Emergency Anxiety
Once you realise that we are in a climate emergency it is often difficult to talk to family, friends and colleagues who don't yet share your understanding.
This “Safe Space” is somewhere you can find others in the same position. Come along and share your concerns. Come along and feel less alone.This is not about looking for “solutions” to the predicament. It is about finding ways for us to deal with the burden of knowing in our daily life.
There will be an experienced counsellor on hand to offer insights into coping strategies.
